as for the sprites, I only make XP sprites. Old versions have to deal with those color issues, don't get them.

I prefer RTP, but I haven't really played around with any other type of templates yet.

Monkeydlu, isnt the right arm a cannon/laser thing?
Also its clear that you just did 1 side and then flipped it and put it on to make it look like it has two sides.
Like putting a half done picture against a mirror to pretend you finished it.
I know these all go against what you've already done, but I was just saying what I saw in it.

I do plan on doing the cannon, but I've only worked about 40 mins on this so far. Also, this is an request, I still have 2 more sprites for my own game to finish, lol, so my requests probably won't get as much time into them as my own sprites.

Most of my sprites I usually mirrior the frames when possible, it saves time, but yeah, your right. Though I don't really think it's pretending to be finished. Human beings are naturally symetrical, so usually, it works just fine, it's jsut that this paticular request fetures a robot, that isn't entirely symetrical. Ah well, I'll work on it again when I'm feeling lazy, lol

sorry for the time, but I've been working on my own stuff, as well as it's mid terms right now. That, and then theres several other things lined up, so these requests might take a while. But I worked on it a bit, meaning like 20 mins just now, and I rethought the proportions a bit.

I'm pretty satisfied with this, so I'll start working on completing the other frames now.

anyways, my amazing mapper Sithlord takes priority over other's requests, so here is the WIP for his character. But of course, I'm still taking bites, so I've started trying to remake my avion battler in white ties style rather than using KSVB templates. So yah, way to much.



But I think I've got a solid hold on it, I'm taking an more traditional approach this time, and I'm going to follow Dollmage's work closely, please please help me and tell me what I should fix x.x

A little bit of outline to see the Jacket's V necky open, as it seems she has a "Big" chest & rather the Jacket looks small in the sprite than the Actual Picture. Other than that, it's turning out nice.

Animated the down direction of Caro's sprite, surprisingly, this was waaaaay harder than I thought it would be.

I think I got it where I like the legs now though, the skinier effect is hard to control >_>

Hmm, I'd say you could afford to make the sash or whatever a tad wider. In the picture, it covers the legs a bit more, especially near the top. But do whatever is easiest for you. The other sprites look very nice and this one seems to be coming along nicely.

it's been like a month since I last sprited, I did a bit of work and daaam am I rusty, took a while to get it back in motion but it looks like I'm still good for something. Anyways, working on a rtp sprite completely from scratch, the hairs pretty fun this time actually.

agh, I have two entire casts to sprite as well as 3 other requests, plus I've got a few to do for my own game O_O Well, exams will be over next week, so I'm gonna start working like crazy once summer starts.

I just started playing Ar Tonelico yesterday, I went through it for over 8 hours straight... thats not healthy at all >_>

Okay, after reading the last few posts, I doubt this will get done, but this is the only option I haven't tried.

I need a charset of a female character for my game. She has a blue dress down to her ankles with a slit on her left side that ends almost up to her hip from the hem of the dress. She has short, dirty blonde hair, green eyes, and her dress is blue. I've put a very close matching charset I made in Character Maker XP that you could edit to get her. The hair, dres, and eye colors are perfect, all you would have to do is edit the dress to make it fit the brief description I gave and give her a short, feminine hair cut . Oh, and the dress covers her back entirely, but the front is as shown in the reference.

The color pallets are pretty bad, but they're icons, so it shouldn't be a terrible deal, you can probably make them better by using some premade collor pallets though.

Just make the Light sword a 'Blue Sword' itself @__@

i'm reading stuff about shoes, but i can't really tell. it's probably just me since the image's bkgcolor is white and you use a lot of light colors in the icon so i'm losing the contrast between the icon and the bkg.

i can see it better now w/o the white bkg. but, when i took it into photoshop to remove the bkg, i noticed that you used the same color in the shoe as the bkg, so you should probably change that so when RMXP goes to cut out the transparency it doesn't cut holes in the icon.

no, the white is the transparent color, theres no white in the actual icon itself, all the white is menat to be transparent, the red lines are strings, haha
