Making your own sprites

I have Poser and I was wondering about making my own sprites in 3d images?  Is this possible to get the 3d effect in rpg maker?  I have rpg maker xp (my Christmas present)and I am looking at making my own individual game.  I can make backgrounds in Terragen too.

It is possible, yet very hard to script. You'd better go with 3D Rendered, or you better buy a real 3D game making program

Also, Diegoale2000 is making a 3d rendered one, at least he was. He has turned to painting But ere there are some pieces of 3de characters.
