I am trying to make an RPG with a custom turnbased battle system using the sprites of fighters from 2D fighting games like Street Fighter, or games like Streets of Rage.

1. Can RPGMaker 2003 be programmed to allow multiple animations to be played on the field at the same time?

2. Can either XP or 2003 be programmed via scripting or otherwise to allow bigger sprite sheets for animations? 25 just isn't enough.

By the way I'm new, Hi guys and I hope I posted this in the right Forum

Thanks from Lvondas (the swordsman)
