RMRK is retiring.

RMRK.net has nothing to do with Blockchains, Cryptocurrency or NFTs. We have been around since the early 2000s, but there is a new group using the RMRK name that deals with those things. We have nothing to do with them.
NFTs are a scam, and if somebody is trying to persuade you to buy or invest in crypto/blockchain/NFT content, please turn them down and save your money. See this video for more information.

So I need to know how to have an event happen only once;

i.e., you talk to a man sitting in a tavern; the message is:

"I have something for you", and a 2nd event is that he gives you a Talisman.

How do I make it so that when you talk to him again, he does not add another Talisman to your inventory?

And better yet, how can I make him (or any other event with a message, for that matter) say something different the 2nd time you talk to him?

I see...do what now? lol, I know you're saying to use the Event Conditions, but I'm not sure how exactly.

Also, is there a general faq for Events anywhere...seriously? lol, I've looked and looked...

and thanks for you help ^.^

And also, Legend of Dragoon is an excellent Rpg
