The Synopsis can be used as a walkthrough and a summary of the current sub-chapter if anyone gets confused. The game is mostly First-Person and there are rarely any scenes where Victor isn't there to witness. Usually when he isn't there, the main character is then switched to either Ella or Celia.
Chapter One: Reminiscence
[Sub-Chapter One: Prelude]
This is the story of a young man, who struggles to find himself. He awakens in the middle of the Telph Region desert, where the only thing he knows he must do is find a meteorite. Without a clue as to what he should next, he searches for this meteorite. Where he finds the Elemental Spirit of Water, Undine. Undine grants him the power of Ice, but soon after an Elemental Hunter named Darius kidnaps Undine and sends two Golems to attack Victor. Victor being out numbered two to one, had no chance of survival. Celia, a female soldier who was exploring the Meteorite earlier, assists Victor with the Golems. Darius had gotten away, but it was non of their concern.
[Sub-Chapter Two: Return]
The two head to Victor's hometown of Illvant, just north of the Meteorite. Fatigued and tired, Celia rests at Victor's house as Victor talks to the Mayor about his findings. The mayor believes that Victor's new found powers are an effect of a rapidly spreading Virus known as Elemental Effects. In order to quarantine this virus, Victor is sent along with Celia and another "infected" individual named Zeus to Telliphia, where they may ask the Prophet for treatment. The three head out towards Lake Beryl, where they may cross the bridge to Telliphia. Unfortunately, the bridge was down due to beast people attacking the bridge. The group take an alternative route around Turtle Mountain.
[Sub-Chapter Three: Telliphia]
Upon arrival at Telliphia, they go ask the Prophet Maclir for some insight. Maclir tells them of a cure being developed in Celcia, and that they should check Celcia's Royal Library for some information. Since due to the growing amount of monsters in Tellerum, the portal to Celcia is closed off and no travelers without passports may move between planets. Since the king is absent and he is the only person able to give a passport, the group was stuck in Tellerum. The main road to the Portal was also closed off due to monster activity so they used a secret underground tunnel instead. In the tunnel they met Darius, who was trying to stop them from reaching Tellerum for reasons unknown. The group defeat him but he gets away. When Victor and the party reach the Portal, they met Ella, a magician in training who had run away from home because her mother had been forcing her to take Magic School. Since Ella could not continue into Tellerum and she had a passport, the group took her along and went to drop her off home.
[Sub-Chapter Four: Celcia]
The group had made it to Celcia, in a town called Las Victoris. Known for its beaches and high academic standard, this was a town brimming with activity. Victor and the others had never been to a place like this before, but they weren't on vacation. They went to Ella's house where they met her mother, who then thanked Victor and his party by inviting them for dinner and a night at their house. Accepting the offer, they slept there for the night. During a talk in at night though, Celia mentioned they wouldn't need to bring Ella along, and that she may prove to be a burden. This upset Ella and she ran away from home. Nothing could be done, so the group woke up in the morning and set out to Celcia's Library. At the library they learned about a tower where they can talk to God for help. Unsure as to where to go next, the group set out to Theor's tower. The tower of the God of all creation, Theor.
[Sub-Chapter Five: Memory]
The party entered the first room of the tower, where they met Darius once again. Where he intended to take Victor and use him for an experiment. Darius attacked Victor with a spell and knocked him out. Celia and Zeus then attacked Darius but proved ineffective. This "new" Darius was immune to physical attacks and seemed almost indestructible. Victor fell unconscious and awoke in his mind. The only thing in sight besides blackness was a door. A voice told him if he wanted to know the truth, he would have to open the Four Doors. So Victor did so and opened the first door, labeled FATE. When he entered, he could see what he assumed happened previous of the search for the meteorite. He saw 3 figures, Celia and Zeus talking to each other as he just sits and watches. They spoke of "Project Noah" and "The Amnesiac". He could only assume the Amnesiac was him. Before he could make out the rest of the convosation, he had awoken in reality. Before he would make an assumption, he would have to go back and make sure.
[Sub-Chapter Six: Balcuda]
Victor had awoken in Balcuda, an island nation in the middle of nowhere. With him was Ella, who had apparently saved and defeated Darius in Theor's Tower. She told him Celia and Zeus will be on their way with a ship, but not for a couple of days. After exploring the small town of Balcuda, they spent the night at the home of a cleric named Hugo, who helped them when they showed up on shore. The next day, Victor hears that Celia's ship may be delayed by unnatural winds. In a hurry Victor demands a solution, but Ella tells him that he is selfish and leaves. Hugo tells Victor that cause may be the Elemental spirit Sylph who lives in a near by ruin. But exploration would have to wait till morning and that Victor should apologize for being so much in a hurry and just relax on this beautiful island with Ella. The two end up going on a small date out for dinner and a walk on the beach. The next day they head into the ruins and defeat the Sylph who have been causing the winds. During the fight however, Hugo seemed to have gained Sylph's Wind Elemental Effect. The next day Celia arrives on the beach waiting for Victor. They have to head out to Theor Tower immediately after embarking.
[Sub-Chapter Seven: Betrayal]
Once the party had made it to Theor Tower, they climbed the tower with ease. It was strange that the tower was now completely empty and nobody was trying to stop them. They almost made it to the top when they encountered a strange mirror on the wall. Victor went to examine it when a flashing light sucks Victor into the mirror. A pathway opens up behind the mirror and the rest of the party go in to look for him. While unconscious Victor had returned to the dream world, this time with the second door in front of him. The door was labeled REMINISCENCE. When he entered the door he was in the body of a beast. Two other beasts were also with him, fighting humans who were invading their village. They swim to the bridge in Beryl lake where they fight Victor and his party, and are defeated. Once defeated Victor awakes back in the tower in his own body. He starts searching for Celia and the others. Once the party regroups, they continue to the top where they meet a mysterious woman wearing a dark robe over her entire body. She was expecting them and intends to capture Victor for an unknown reason. She commands Celia to bring Victor to her and Celia obeys, but Ella stops her from taking Victor. Celia tells her that she does not intend to fight her, but Ella refuses to listen and calls her a traitor. Ella then uses the last bit of her energy to teleport Victor, Zeus, and herself out of the tower.
[Sub-Chapter Eight: Gemini]
The three ended up in Tellerum, on the outskirts of a small place called Moria. Ella explains that the teleportation only brings people to places they have been to before, but she has never stepped foot on Tellerum till recently. They walk to Moria where they met the Rabi who lived there. He asked them which one of them was Victor, and that he was expecting someone named Victor to come. But he came a lot sooner than he expected. The Rabi tells them that Maclir, the Prophet of Tellerum wants Victor to kill him, using the Silver Star Sword. The reason being Maclir is actually two people, and that his evil side who wields the Silver Moon Sword intends to do something evil and must be stopped. Victor is the only swordsman alive who can do it. Hesitant at first, Victor accepts the duel and they leave with the sword to the ruins in which Maclir waits.
[Sub-Chapter Nine: Truth]
After the duel, Maclir tells the truth about Victor's existence and why he was born. Victor is a being known as the "Amnesiac" because when one is born, he never remembers anything about his past life. This time the amnesiac was born in a militant boy named Victor Vabre, and the role of the amnesiac is to save the world. The catch is he must destroy it by sacrificing himself. Each time one is born, the guide is also sent from the heavens to make sure he fulfills his role. Victor is upset that his life is meaningless and wanders into the unknown, making sure no one follows him. While walking in the desert, Victor faints and enters the dream world again. He enters the door and inside he finds himself, the only past version of himself. Each time he is reborn, another persona is created within him. His past self tells Victor to fulfill his destiny, because the last version failed and which is why the worlds of Trigaea are still suffering. Victor realizes what he must do and returns to Zeus and Ella.
[Sub-Chapter Ten: Return]
Victor tells Zeus and Ella about the situation, almost immediately Ella refuses to let him go. He tells her that in order for the worlds to be saved, he must complete the ritual and there is no other way.
In order to save the worlds, Victor must go to Osmum. He must meet with the prophet Lorain in order to begin the ceremony. In order to get to Osmum, they have to go to either Illvant's Portal, or Penguiner's Inn on Celcia. The group decides to go to Celcia because they can't get to Illvant anyways. The group headed to Celcia once more.
[Sub-Chapter Eleven: Final Holiday]
When the group reach Penguiner's Inn, they meet Celia in the courtyard. She had been awaiting their arrival. She explains she was doing it to help save the worlds, but is sorry for deceiving them. She really was their friend. The party decides that if Victor was going to proceed with this, they should at least spend some time together at the Inn. They get a large room to stay for the next few days.
The first night, Victor spent with Celia watching the stars. They talked about everything that's happened so far, and wondered what the new world will be like. Celia wonders if there's a way to save the worlds without sacrificing Victor. She tells Victor how she feels, and Victor gives her a hug and smiles.
The next night Victor hangs out with Zeus. Victor asks Zeus about what happened before Victor was created. Zeus tells him the story of the other Victor, of how he was only a militant who didn't care much about anything but his duties. Never thinking of the future or of anyone else. In truth Zeus wasn't even his friend nor did work as a bouncer. He met Victor for the first time at his house. Zeus wouldn't tell him anymore than that, and they head to bed.
The last night, he spent with Ella. The whole three days she had been looking sad, yet they were having fun. He asks her why she was sad, and it was because he was going to die. She tells him she wouldn't care if the world ended, just as long as he lived. Victor finally realizes she was in love with him. They shared a room together that night, and in the morning he tells her "Don't worry, I'll come back".
[Sub-Chapter Twelve: The End, The Beginning]
The party gives the letter of permission to the owner, and he lets them use the portal. They travel to Osmum's first Temple of Light, where they are to find Lorain. The entire city is full of emotionless beings all wearing the same outfit. They headed to the central tower and met with the Prophet Lorain. She explains to the party the process of Rebirth. Each time the Gods on the moon decide to recycle the world, they have awaken a randomly selected human host, and when that happens the Guide will be sent down to make sure the task is complete. Victor's confusion becomes all clear now, and he asks what happens after he does it. Lorain tells them that the two worlds will be reborn and all human life will recycle, with the exception of those on Osmum. This process was attempted before, but the previous wanted to live more than save the world. He make a treaty to end the war between Celcia and Tellerum to conserve and share whatever resources are left among the people. The Gods saw he was incapable of completing the task and slew him. She warns Victor of the same fate if he refused to cooperate. She and Victor headed to the Santuary of darkness, and warned the other party members not to follow.
[Sub-Chapter Thirteen: Rescue]
Hours after they left, the party is sitting in a waiting room at the Temple of Light. All of a sudden Darius walks in the room, and explains to the party that Lorain is going to preform a "Dark Crucifixion" on him. If she preforms that, then she will summon the dark God, Zivel. He reveals his identity to be Maclir, but his other persona. Each does not want the world to end like this. The party quickly heads to the Santuary of darkness before it's too late. When they make it, Victor is already halfway done the ritual, but they interrupt it and fight Lorain anyways. After defeating her, she manages to escape, but they rescue Victor and bring him to a hospital. He has to take time to recover and Tellerum is covered in darkness and Celcia is covered in Ice.
[Sub-Chapter Fourteen: New Testament]
They head back and Darius explains that since Victor is already tainted after proceeding with half of the Crucifixion, he cannot preform the Light Crucifixion to summon Theor. They must bring back a willing participant to preform the real crucifixion. The party set out into the new twisted worlds to look for someone willing to sacrifice their life for the world.
[Sub-Chapter Fifteen: Last Wish]
The party eventually seek out Hugo, a faithful Baltic who would most likely do it. Hugo agrees on one condition. That he meets as many elemental spirits as he can before he does this. The terms are, that they either find the other 5 Elementals of Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, and Lightning, or the three most powerful spirits of Darkness, Light and Matter. The party then seek out the spirits.
[Sub-Chapter Sixteen: A Talk With God]
They bring Hugo back and Darius brings him to the top of the tower to preform the ritual. Several hours later Darius comes out to the waiting room and tells the party to bring Victor up to the top. They go to the top and speak with Theor. He asks them what they wish out of summoning him. Victor tells him that he wants the worlds to be reborn into one, a world where all species can coexist in peace. Theor warns him that if he were to proceed, anyone on the planets will die, and humankind must start anew alongside another species. Everyone agrees to the plan, but Theor tells them in order to complete the task, they must show their willingness to do so. He challenges them to a battle, but first they must defeat Lorain. He sends them to find Lorain and kill her for attempting to summon Zivel.
[Sub-Chapter Seventeen: Revelation]
The party search the planets looking for Lorain, and when they get to Illvant, it is destroyed. In the ruins, they can see an Angelic figure. It's Lorain in her true form. They battle in the ruins of Illvant and defeat her.
They head back to Theor to offer the wings of an angel. He accepts and asks them to prepare for the final battle. After preparations, they accept the challenge and fight Theor. After a long and intense battle they "defeated" him. He concludes their worthiness and commences the Rebirth of the worlds.
[Epilogue]
"So how many eggs do you want Vic?" Ella asks.
"Just 2" Victor replies. He walks to the window and looks out at the world. "It's beautiful" he says to himself. If the world was ever again troubled, he promised that he would take care of it.
