thief's Steal skill

I am certain this has been asked many many times and am sorry to ask it again, but I searched and didn't find anything helpful for a Steal skill for thiefs.  I would like to have the skill steal items (or money) from enemy, if possible different items than the enemy drops.  I have no programming experience, so please keep this in mind.  Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Sorry for the lack of an answer, but to be honest I haven't had alot of time to try them out due to term paper due dates and impending finals.  When I get some free time I will give them a go and let you know if they work.  Thanks.
