Netscape is infitely better due to it NOT displaying pages WRONG.
It uses IE's rendering engine for some stuff, other times it uses the gecko engine, which is what firefox uses.
When you see firefox rendering things wrong, it's likely because that particular site is using dogdy (and non-standard) code to force it to look OK in IE. Though when a browser comes along that renders that code "right", it looks broken, as the code itself is broken.
Somebody who knows what they're doing can get the User-Agent from the browser and load different code accordingly. If your browser is IE or FF, you'll be getting different HTML from this forum to make it look right in both.
