Okay, long story short pyroken, people dont like RTP because it shows that the maker lacks creativity.

And they dont like Arshes more because, he is the first actor, most non creative people choose. Because he's already made right?

Exactly. That's what I'm trying to say. And nightwolf got it pretty much together, too.

So, don't use RTP if possible. Tilesets and NPC would be okay I'd say, but don't use it for heroes or villains or any other important person/event in your game. It's also a coolr idea to get non-RTP monsters. There are tons of monsters on the web, so using the RTP for them isn't neccesary.

It doesn't necessarily mean that they lack creativity, it just means that they don't care enough about their own project to put effort into finding other resources to use.

I hate RTP stuff too but i havent seen much tilesets yet that match the RTP stuff.
And this game still owns

I'm thinking of gaining the skill to make most of the resources myself. I have some experience with Photoshop and pixel shading... Before that, I suppose I'll find them online.
