First of all, he's the default hero.  That's a dead giveaway that he's male.

I mean, really.  What program would support a female hero?  One with a sword, no less.  Unheard of.

When I play the Kill Arshes minigame, how come the score in the top left corner of the screen doesn't increase?  Did someone point this out already and I'm just too lazy to notice?

There does seem to be an update issues, but meh. It's nothing critical and the game is still fun.

BUT, the variable count is correct at the end of the game.

You know, there are points at which the standard sprite fits the main character perfectly. In those cases, it gets a bit unfair if everyone who plays the game is predisposed against your favor, even though you actually have a valid reason to use whatever it is.

There are at least different styled RTP battlers on the web. You don't have to use the ones provided by the RTP.

But I don't believe there are any battlers who have the same theme as the Arsh, that would be unoriginal. What if you need a battler that looks like a shoddy, travel-worn boy with no idea what's going on?

OK, fine, that comment was a bit immature, but I'm still saying. It shouldn't matter where a graphic comes from, as long as it's good and you use it correctly.

If you are using a graphic style, keep away from RTP. There are MANY graphic styles where you could find a battler that is EXACTLY like you want him to look like. RTP is for the people who are not creative enough to make something on their own, it's for people that are too lazy to make something on their own. Reason enough? If you want somebody to play your game, for God's sake, don't use the RTP. Use ANYTHING, but the RTP.

Is he using RTP? No. His graphics might look a lot worse than the RTP graphics, but I would rather play his game than any 100% RTP game. I ask you once more: Reason enough? This makes my previous statement very valid:

He's just plain better because he isn't RTP.

If you want to use RTP battlers and characters in your game, go on. I won't hinder you. But don't be surprised if nobody plays your game.
