I already played this a few months ago. And it was good.

If anybody wants to use this in his game, be sure to copy the map AND the script that is begin used there.

I remember this from CP - NW, I also remember the eating contest...

Best mini games I've ever played....apart from triple triad but that was a huge project by Seph.

but...the count counter thing for shots is broken for me.

He's better than RM2k's Alex. (Alex is okay too but his charset his horrible.)

He is the mascot and main hero of all the unoriginal and crappy RMXP games.

Downloaded and played this a while ago.

For some reason I kinda liked RM2k/3 RTP games with the defualt hero Alex in it, really enjoyed those. Too bad people gave him all those weird companions, instead of using the other default characters too.

But for some reason I hate RMXP RTP games. RM2k/3 RTP games looked really fancy, really fun, but RMXP RTP just looks too perfect and too sharp for a half-joke game, just pisses me off to play RMXP RTP games... I can handle 5 maps but after that.. 

I totally know what you mean. Most probably, because RM2k3 is oldskool, lol!

It's made with events. The only script used in the Minigame is to show the Score. Just DL the minigame, you can get everything you need from it.

How could you mistake him for a woman?!

First of all, he's the default hero.  That's a dead giveaway that he's male.

I mean, really.  What program would support a female hero?  One with a sword, no less.  Unheard of.

When I play the Kill Arshes minigame, how come the score in the top left corner of the screen doesn't increase?  Did someone point this out already and I'm just too lazy to notice?

It actually DOES increase.

There does seem to be an update issues, but meh. It's nothing critical and the game is still fun.

No, the counter in the top left corner does not increase.

BUT, the variable count is correct at the end of the game.

What's going on?

If I have the time, I'll look into it. I might even convert all of it into a script if I find more time.

You know, there are points at which the standard sprite fits the main character perfectly. In those cases, it gets a bit unfair if everyone who plays the game is predisposed against your favor, even though you actually have a valid reason to use whatever it is.

There are at least different styled RTP battlers on the web. You don't have to use the ones provided by the RTP.

But I don't believe there are any battlers who have the same theme as the Arsh, that would be unoriginal. What if you need a battler that looks like a shoddy, travel-worn boy with no idea what's going on?

OK, fine, that comment was a bit immature, but I'm still saying. It shouldn't matter where a graphic comes from, as long as it's good and you use it correctly.

If you are using a graphic style, keep away from RTP. There are MANY graphic styles where you could find a battler that is EXACTLY like you want him to look like. RTP is for the people who are not creative enough to make something on their own, it's for people that are too lazy to make something on their own. Reason enough? If you want somebody to play your game, for God's sake, don't use the RTP. Use ANYTHING, but the RTP.

Exactly. That's what I'm trying to say. And nightwolf got it pretty much together, too. So, don't use RTP if possible. Tilesets and NPC would be okay I'd say, but don't use it for heroes or villains or any other important person/event in your game. It's also a coolr idea to get non-RTP monsters. There are tons of monsters on the web, so using the RTP for them isn't neccesary.

It doesn't necessarily mean that they lack creativity, it just means that they don't care enough about their own project to put effort into finding other resources to use.

Yeah that would describe it maybe better.

I'm thinking of gaining the skill to make most of the resources myself. I have some experience with Photoshop and pixel shading... Before that, I suppose I'll find them online.

I am IMPRESSED! The "mage" sayed so to me. And the game is great. I am not Arshes hater, but IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM
