Choppy?

Now this may seem like a n00bish question.

Is it just me, or does RPG Maker XP 1.02a seem a little... choppy compared to RM2003 and RM2K?
The character movements just don't seem as slick.

it does, you are right, it is true i'm using it on an old bucket of computer, but it is "choppy" don't worry-buy a new computer
