what does gif stand for?

Gif is made by flash sometimes.
Gif is animatedoricialy(WHATVER just its animated) thing.

its a rather small program and you put pictures in frame by frame... make sure each picture is a gif image.
Another way i've learned is to use fireworks MX but I don't think you will have that program.

Maybe there is a way to use GIMP...

as for screen savers use google

Simple screensavers can be made using Game Maker. http://www.gamemaker.nl

Simply have it load a video or run a script or something.

You could use the particle system to make an interesting firework display for example. All you have to do is rename the .exe to .scr
