Someone please answer this simple question

Ive read the thing but i dont get it. My character talks and i want to characters to be either side of him. After tlkaing i want them to move onto him, vanish then the player can walk on. How?

use events. Use the event command 'set move route' and set the other people to first face player, then take step toward player. Then have it erase event or something else so the people dissapear. That should make it look like they re-entered your hero's party.

Huh? Ok...my character starts on a tile and i want a character to be either side of him. After a conversation which i know how to do and a few events, i need the others to move onto the character then vanish. How do i make it so hald of the event their are two events either side of him then after the conversation the events move.
