I like it. Alot. The face is wonderful and full of color. However, as you inch down it kind of turns the other way. Why would a princess be wearing a....rag (Well...a rag type thing) ? o.O I have guessed at a reason, but a dress would possibly suit more.

Lol. Sorry...that's just my preference >.> I still like it though.

Also...she seems abit flat as well. o.o

Anywho, she's wearing a frilly shawl-thing... I have a full-body pic...

This is old, and colored with pencils. o_o; Don't say bad things about it.
Fu was the closest - she is a druid.

As for assuming she'd be "grander," she keeps her royal heritage under wraps, mostly, as she finds it a hinderance in her adventuring.

however, you can tell the drawing is dated, no offense. Just from the head, actually, which is pretty bad in comparison to the one you posted first.
