[RESOLVED] Help with Rpg Maker Xp with battling

The problem is simple. I've tried changing the stats of an enemy in numerous ways, and still, every time I battle the enemy, my regular attacks do 0 damage. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? and also, I played a game that I downloaded online made with RPG maker xp and it does the same thing in battles. Skill attacks seem to work fine.

To do damage, your character MUST have a weapon equipped. I don't know why, but you gotta have one.

Because of the Battle Algorythms. They are set that way if you Attack Power is 0, the damage is automatically also 0.
