Placing Monsters

How do i add monsters so like when the player steps on a certain tile they fight a monster

If you mean a specific tile, then use an event. If you mean random encounters then tell us which maker you are using.

I am using 2003. How would i do it as a event. I just download it today.

You go to the event layer, and set "Monster Encounter"

Also set it to hero touch.
