RPG Maker 2003 Problem

When I actually get around to playing a game, it works just fine. The only problem I have is with saving. It saves and everything, and if I pick 'Quit' from the menu thing that lets you look at your status and equipment and so on, and I get sent back to the main menu, I can still load my game.

However, if I choose 'quit' from the main menu and resume at some later time, it won't let me load- it's all grayed out.

Am I doing some thing wrong?

 Thanks in advance.

If you change the game at all it resets the save files.

I'm not quite sure I understand.

I can turn it back on two seconds later without doing anything else at all and the load option still will be unaccesible.

Hmm...This may be a glitch with 2003, I had a problem where if I did anything the save files would be deleted, so I can't relate than past that point.
How about converting to RPG Maker XP, because I know nearly everything about that, and I'll even give you a download link..

No, no no, please don't convert. There really isn't supposed to be a save glitch in Rm2k3.

It's probably the version of Rpg Maker 2003, rather than the maker itself. Mine works fine, changing and saving doesn't change anything in the files.  :-\

I hate it when someone tries to help someone with RM 2k/2k3 problems with very little effort, and then says "Oh well, it must be a glitch. Switch to XP."

Zypher, Veltonvelton, and Dalton are secretly having a homosexual affair in hidden messages just like this one
research shows Fu is also involved, but not in a gross and creepy way

RPGMaker XP is must better, you have more options thus more potential.

Also more things thatt can go wrong, and often more options means more things you'll end up wanting to do, meaning more time needed, meaning more likely you'll give up because you find you can't do everything.

In technical matters, RMXP is strictly better, but in matters of personal effort required, RM2k/3 may be more desireable.

True it all depends on how serious people are about becoming a real game designer.

The more serious ones taking Rm2k3 for more coding changelles, thus more recognized for their effort.

Anyways, if you have a problem, don't switch! Just keep searching, you can find the answer to almost any problem..

Someone close this, it's turning into a Rm2k3 vs Rmxp war...
