How to make into's

I can't seem to find any tut's on into making... and I really need one.

Can someone help me with that?

One of my big problems is making it start on its own at the beginning of the game.

What I did for my game is use events (The main character starts in a dream, and learns that he must travel to a city to rescue blah blah blah) and then he wakes up etc. etc. etc.

Is that the kind of intro you're thinking of? You'd need to make a room where the story would start off, and put an event in that room with 'Auto Start' as the trigger, and have whatever you want in that event. (Mainly messages, maybe pictures if you want)

Im having a simliar problem, Im trying to get it to start without the charecter in the picture, I just dont know how to do it enless you create an actor in the database who looks like someone else and you make an autorun event that uses that charecter, then you teleport it to a diffrent map while changing the charecters graphic!, yeah im gonna go try that thanks for all the help!
