8 Directions. I know, but this one is diferent.

I wonder if someone can help me. I have a 8 directions script but I would like to actually HAVE 8 directions.
What I mean is, I have resources for the character in all 8 directions but the script I have doesn't allow me to use them. It uses the standart 4. I promise it's for a good cause. I'm creating THE game! The one that will change the way you see RMXP. thanks

You can use a common event that checks if you press two buttons at the same time and then triggers a switch and a changing of the charcter sprite of the first character. Else it turns the switch off and reverts the graphic. Use the switch also as a precondition to change the graphic, so it changes it ONLY ONCE and not all the time otherwise it could cause lag.

I don't like common events- they slow down the game.  I like to script my way around. Thanks anyway.
I could swear I saw a script somewhere about that but I can't seem to find it...
