No, I didn't have to audition. I'm not sure if it's because I've declared a composition major, or because I've been playing an instrument and teaching it for a certain amount of time. I thought you did have to audition as well.

And thank you everyone for the compliments, however I probably won't go and apply again in Fall 2008. I am kind of tied down here right now... but it's Berklee! So, who knows? Right now I have to get through this school year.

I had to audition twice for a field I wasn't even interested in, Jazz Guitar, just because guitar was my instrument of choice. :\

I could've sworn you had to audition to get into Berklee too... maybe I snuck through the cracks, heh...

Jazz guitar is tough, so I hear. I don't play guitar so I wouldn't know. =D I'll have to take all the instrument tech classes though, and learn to play them all: Clarinet tech, string tech, tuba tech, etc.

The expense is a huge reason why I might not go.

Also, I was mistaken before, I DO have to audition, so I'm definately not going to be able to do Fall 2007. And since I'm auditioning percussion, I have to audition on drum set, timpani, vibraphone, snare, and percussion. (

Well, now I'll have plenty of time to build my chops back up.
