"Here begin the torments of Hell proper" -Danta's inferno

Geno

ya i have it too but have u beat it without dying *done it in sonic 2*
.....hi

Yossy

Without using any cheats, I've only made it to about level 3 or 4.  It sucks cause there's no way to save your progress.  Some of the "boss battles" against the main badguy dude are brutal.

Emulators. Save states. You're welcome.

Arrow

I love emu-laters...They're a disgusting bird and a cheap farewell, all in one tiny package...

Haha, well the Vectorman I'm talking about is the one I'm familiar with from when I was a wee little lass.  No save states for that~
But, yes, after talking about it for all this time, I am increasingly becoming fond of the idea of downloding Vectorman.  Even though I still have it on console.

Thank you, I guess.   ::)

I grew up on 2D games so I just got used to them. I like 3D but I miss the games like:
-Secret of mana
-Final Fantasy 3
-Super Mario RPG
-Chrono trigger

Thats the main reason I like RPG maker so much is because it's 2d  :D
*Goes to play only NES games*

Don't roll your eyes at me, missy!

But the good news is, it'll be legal for you to have the ROM since you own the actual game. Like that really matters though.

Occorru

Im all set I can satisfy my old school gaming urges by playing NES games on Animal Crossing.

Geno

i have FF3 *just beat it last week* and of course i have supermario RpG and T.T on animal crossing whild world u can't play NES games
.....hi

Yossy

Not enough room.  Think about all of the massive additions in Wild World that weren't in the GCN version.  The lack of NES games was a small price to pay for the larger house size, more characters, larger museum, and 3x more furniture.

Arrow

Well damn! Maybe I should rent that...

Geno

anyone here have ZNES you can make chop sets by taking screen shots  ;D i would try but i don't have it
.....hi

Arrow

The great thing about ZSNES is that you can switch the different layers on/off.  Hit a few keys and BAM the sprite layer is turned off, making chipset ripping like a dream.  Also works vice-versa... switch off the background layers and you're left with sprites, unobstructed.  ZSNES also gives you the option of slowing the game way down, making it easy to rip battle animations and the like.

Arrow

Geno, the game files are called roms.

Geno

ok i ubderstand everything very useful  ;) especially erasing backgrounds and sprites

PHANTASY STAR... the originals from Sega, not this online shooter stuff..

Anyone ever play these?  I'm playing Phantasy Star I on my GBA at the moment... digging that old school nostalgia.
