Hey!

I've been using this website for a while now, but I've never actually joined the forums. Well, I've plucked up the courage, and I'm here.

My current project is called 'Path of Ruin', and I'm trying to create it like the older RPGs where  the characters you pick don't affect the storyline. You know, where you basically pick the class you want and that's about it. No mention of names etc. throughout the game and all that lot.

However, I have a few questions (seeing as this is my first game with RPG Maker):

- How do I create healing spells?
- Is it possible to have an NPC character change your class?
- Could I create a shop which actually sells Magic? You know, so the characters don't learn magic by leveling up, but by buying it?

I think that's all my questions. Anyway, hiya!

Actually that'll probably be the only sane thing you ever hear out of him, unless you need resources of course, then you'll speak to him.

Here's a few tips:

1. Never listen to fumanchuu, he posts on the forums while he's drunk.
2. Do not get involved in people talking about their sexuality.
3. Stay away from the spam section if you wish to perserve your sanity.
4. And don't be an asshole.
5. If you need Rpg Maker help, use the search function, or else people who think they're cool, or are just tried of hearing the same questions repeated, will flame you. No I'm not one of those people.
6. If you need resources, Dr. Sword is dying for some appreciation, so he should help.

Make the power negative so that it heals rather than damages.
