Cutseens with move event bugged

I need help with making cutseens with move event command. I tell an npc to move left 5 times and down twice, but he keeps going to the edge of the left side of the map which is like twelve spaces. Is this a bug or something? I'm using RPG Maker 2000.

the only thing i can tell u is get xp this forum talks about xp a lot so upgrade to xp plz u can download it at crankeye.com

What he wants to use is his own choice, wildrj. And I don't know but maybe with 2000 if you do move left it moves to the edge of the screen so use the wait command and let him move to the 5 spaces (may take a few test plays to get it just right) and then stop.

fine fine i was just suggesting that he gets the rpg maker 2000 on steriods (rpg maker xp).

2000 works just fine. I have yet to see a decent game made on XP.

In 2000, the move event works just the same as in XP deathtrooper, so that won't be the problem. Chances are, you're event is on auto-start, and you haven't made use of switches.

RPG Maker 2003 is 2000 on Steriods, XP is the jock son of the geek =P

Anyway I guess Halo would be right if they work the same way. Also xanaxx What Halo said is he hasn't seen any complete decent games for XP. Hell I haven't even seen a complete one.
