Ok, I made my image in photoshop, saved it as a png file, and imported it into my rpg maker, but it doesn't show up as a tileset anywhere else other than the materialbase, so I can't use it.  Do I need to make everything fit into a certain amount of pixels, or what?  What am I doing wrong?

One by one, the penguins steal my sanity...
Re-import it and pay attention to which category you are importing it into.
If it's a charcter set, make sure you are choosing the "characters" section.
If it's a battler, make sure you're choosing the "battlers" section.
DEATH: Master of Time, your life is at it's end! Mwahahahaha!
MOT: Whatever, dude *throws crumpled piece of paper at Death and runs away*
DEATH:....?

After that go to the database section.  In the tileset tab, change the array size and add 1... now choose your tileset as the base, and add autotiles.  Now, set the directional passing and priority and poof you're all ready to go.
