Hello guys i'm quite new to the rpg maker xp and i was trying to map out this basic pirate ship.. so i selected the ship tilesets. However, the tip of the ship (do you guys call that hull or starboard or something? sorry i'm bad in english) tileset is facing north... and i want it to be rotated to face east or west or south but i cannot seem to find any rotating function.

Help is appreciated, thanks for reading :)

Sadly, there is no built in rotation function. If you want it to be facing another direction you are going to have to do it manually my opening up the tileset in you image editor of choice and rotating it there. You could just rotate the whole image, or rotate the part you want, or rotate the whole image/certain parts and add them onto the bottom of the non rotated tileset. Just make sure you back it up before messing with it.

Oh wow and i spent like half an hour finding the button hehe. By the way, i have tried to find the tileset file but i really cannot find it. Am i looking for a png format file?

Grahpics\Tilesets

I am pretty sure yes, they are in PNG format.

Maybe it could be done with scripting? We better get people who are uber srcipters quick.

We'll call The Supreme Scripters! Chapions of RPG Maker Justice!

Okay I was being silly. But If your using RM XP, try doing a script request. I'm sure some one can help you with that.

Sometimes I should kick myself for being too lazy to learn RGSS.

I don't think you can script a change in the very editor itself...
