CRASHING!!!!!!!!!

from a demo,i copied the SDK,particle engine,fishing,and fishing help scripts.also,i now have both versions of xp,and MY game was being made on pk.
now when i start the game,it's black(loading)then it crashes and asks if i wanted to send an error report.i thought it was the scripts,so i deleted them,but i still have the problem!i just want my game to work!(and maybe WITH scripts,if possible?)

same problem here except its half way through a bunch of text. i thought it might be the sound effects but when i deleted them from the event commands it still happens. no scripts or actions are called except a new bit of text :S

You properly can't do what your trying to do.

what - have text? that rather defeats the point of talking....

anyway - i figured it out - its the letter j  the sodding letter j!! though it doesnt crash if i make it a capital..... so now i have to go through all the text in my game and change the j's to J's  deep joy

There is a simple solution for the j problem. Either download an uncorrupted RGSS100J.dll or just get the RGSS102E.dll

thanks for replying - the only thing is i'd already sat up late changing the j's!

however, i'l take your advice to save me having to do that with my other project

hey i had the same problem what i did was i made a new project <project1> and found the folder and opened the file GAME-confuration settings with notepad then copied the second line. then went to my current project and paste it in place of the second line. if it still wont work open the game project with notepad and copy and paste the version. if you need more details let me know.
