Ok i tried doing these but i couldn't work it out. First thing i see people use kind of like a little kind around their maps to block their characters from going into the black areas of their maps. I tried to do this but it comes out in ordinary sized tiles so how do they do this? The only way i can see of blocking a plyer from going into the black area is by putting walls everywhere but i thought that looked silly.

Secondlyhow do you make your walls diaganol? I saw people doing this too and i have no clue how i could do it.

And finally this is going to seem really crap but how do you start with only one party member, instead of 4? Thanks for any help

Press F9 and go on the system tab... or Tools Data Base then the System tab...

You can set an event add the graphic any... but make the oppacity 0%...

As for the wall thing... not sure... what tile set you mean ?

Ok thanks, i did those 2 things ok. Do you know anything about events? If so how is it that you make them only do it once. Like i've got someone to come over to me say something then walk away. But they keep doing that over and over and they won't stop so i can't move anywhere. I tried doing an erase event but they disappear completely.

Add a blank page to the event and set it to a switch. Then go back to the first page, after the person talks to you, put change switch ON (whichever one you selected to be the conditons on the 2nd page). I think that should work.

I'm afraid this didn't work either. When i tried doing this the person didn't appear at all in the game.

On the Switch page, make sure you set a graphic in the box. If that doesn't work, put a screenshot of what is inside the event.
