RAW Material Import/Export problems

Ok, I've looked all over to see if someone has a similar problem, but I could not find any.

I cannot seem to import a sprite, and Ineed quite a few of them to run the game I wanna make. All character sprites. Anyway, I can't seem to import them.  (I'm using 2000) My sprites are 37x53 and are 667 bytes of a PNG format.

I'm wondering how to import, cause I really need those sprites in my game.

I dont use 2000, I use XP, so I am not sure of the problem, are you sure the sprites are the correct size?

yep, correct size to the pixel.
