ok im not sure if this has been posted but i use the blinking in all ym games its realy easy and fast to do.
ok scince im on my mums comp while mine is geting fixed after a massive virus got into it there will be no pics :cry: but ill add some when i get my comp back (ill have some but not alot)
ok to start get the character you whont to blink,and open it with any art program (paint is easyest for this) then errase the eyes (shown bellow) add to them the small black line (shown bellow) to all the faces in all derections.
ok here is what they should look like
~Normal oben eyes
~What it looks like with no eyes
~With the eyes closed.
ok now we got that done with open your game click import and import both the character with his eyes open and the one closed. (WARNING:this blinking thing only works for character in your party)
ok so lets say i whont hero one to blink, i start a new common event (that actervates with a switch) make it look something like this (i havent got RPG Maker XP with me so please tell me if i made a misstack)
~Wait: X (this is how long form the last blink dos the next lot start, make it a bit long but not to long)
~Change hero to blinking one (in the 3 collom were you change both the battler and spirt is were you do it)
~Wait 2-4 sec (no longer no less, it must be short)
~Change back to character with open eyes
~Wait 2-4 secs
~Change to blinking character
~Wait 2-4 sec
~Change back to character with open eyes
that is it, now as you walk around your character will blink, oh but before that rember how i said put it as a switch actervated event thats for 1 good resion
lets say you have a movie and you change the first hero into a ship for the movie well if it was a even that ran all the time after a ffew secs the ship whould turn into the hero agian, so turn the swith you set it to, to turn the event on and turn it off to dissable it, and once you whont it back on turn it on agian. simple.
