Showing the name of the Attack used in Battle

Right, you know you can rename attacks etc? How do i get it to say "___ used ____ attack!" or whatever (you know, like the pokemon sorta stuff)

Is it even possible? At the moment, when i press return on the "attack" option, it just straight off does the attack animation, same for the enemy. Also it doesnt tell me how much health the oponent has, any way to fix this stuff? Thanx

Is it possible to make a character respawn somewhere else if they die in a battle (as in all characters die)

Question 1:
Well the way you want it, you'll probably need a script if your using Xp.
If someones sees this, they might make one.

Question 2:
Yes it is. it should be obvious in any other version besides Xp.
But if you use Xp, your best bet to do this would be using
"Common Events" and "Conditional "Branchs".

for the message thing- you will need to disable the attack option (make a status for it, call it [normal] or something so it won't look weird or take attack out of the battle script.

then make normal attack a skill, make it cost no mana and use str/dex so on as it's attack power (so archers will gain power from dex only that way, and warrior only from str and mages only from int) and link this skill to a common event, since each skill is unique to every hero you will be able to know which use what and it will say "hero used normal/bow attack"! (you can do the same with every other skill btw)
same with monsters, make them use only skills, make 1 normal attack skill for each set it as 5 or whateva and set the normal attack rate to 0 and that's it.

it's some work but if you really want it..

ark- as much as i hate to admit it, when it comes to random encounters when your party dies it's gameover without a script :(
