right i need help cos im really new and really crap

i aint down with all the technichal lingo jus yet so go easy on me but how can i make my treasure chests, quests and other events only able to be done once because now when i kill a boss or do a one off quest, then exit and re-enter the map i can do it again and get more rewards which is crappy.

Switches.  If RMXP Self switches are more helpful, you fill up your switch thing if you don't use em.
