Moving problem!

I'm trying to start a game off with the hero walking through the forrest. I made an event set on auto-start. It tells him to move through the path I set, but when I start the game.... He just stands there. I cant move him or anything.Please help!

Well if you're using RMXP make sure the move event thing specifically controls the character and not the event itself.

Or if oyu have a graphic for the event and stuff, visa versa.  Make sure the event controls iself I guess.
