script error

ok, so here is a list of custom scripts i use:
ff7 script
ABS v4 script
Mini-map script
keyboard input module
modile KGC
KGC itemgrouping
confirm quit
AMS4


before i added the keyboard input module, and the two scripts that make up the ABS, everything worked perfectly. however, now whenever i select 'new game' (i erased all of my save games) this error comes up:

?'mini-map'? 661 nomethoderror ?
undefined method 'update' for nil:nilclass

now, i know a few thing on this:
'mini-map' is the script with an error, the error is on line 661 and the word 'update' is the error. now for what i odn;t know:

-what a nomethoderror is

-what the error means

-what nil:nilclass means

-how to fix

edit: alas! a new problem! (the other hasnt been fixed yet though)
when i enter a map with an enemy in it, i get this error:

??'Action Battle System1' ? 203 NoMethodError
private Method 'split' called ofr nil:NilClass

having to do with this line of the script(ABS):
trigger = list[i+9].parameters[0].split


if anybody can help me i would be glad. If you need me to ill send you the game if you have MSN messenger.

notes- im almost sure that this error has something to do with the ABS and/or keyboard input module

call me lazy, and that's what i am, but  i really don't think i can bother looking up all of those scripts to help you..
so be nice and friendly and link to them (or wait for tsu since he knows every line in every script)
or even better, make an empty game with them, zip it and upload it somewhere

otherwise.. i'll just keep being the lazy bastard i am

edit: in any case, i tried it and got ALL the lines. it still doesn't work.

well, anyways, i switched ABS's...but this one was made withthe legal version. does anybody knwo where I can buy it? or...does anybody know of a good filesharing service?*wink *wink

NO, expecially kazza, that crap messed up my computer for months, put it out of commision so to speak.

Can you post the sections of script with the errors in it plz?
