rpg maker 2003 show message problem

when im creating a message if i go over a certain amount of characters it cuts it off.

so my questions are:
1.is there a fix for it
2.if not how many characters until what have i described happens

Well not sure about in 2k3, but I do know in XP that you can right click and put in a large amount of text that will simply go into another window at one point.

i think you misunderstand lets say when a hero talks to a pig the pig says:

oink i like bacon and eggs do you?

some of the message will be cut off:

oink i like bacon and eg

no matter how many lines i use

so i have to make a new line at a certain point im trying to find out what that point is

it doesnt matter about how many lines i know when ive types enough line for one message. whats wrong is the <------width-------> of the message

in the actual gameplay afer a certain width of characters on any line it misses the next characters.
