Since you wanted comments on this before you'll write another one... I like everything about this tutorial except the part about light from windows.... and that's just because I don't like that look.  Just looks silly to me but others like it so..

Mapmaking is one of the main reasons i can't finish many games.

O.K. here's some contructive critizism. Your a preety good mapper, as I can tell from your request forum. However, rooms aren't hard at all. I learned nothing new about rooms. You made a skeleton of the room, then you cluttered the room up with things. That's all. You can do a better tutorial than that. Let's see one about puzzles, or cities, like someone else suggested. Caves will proze how good of a mapper you are too.

Does that sound harsh? I'm sorry, but it's true. I have mapped better rooms. but they were important rooms, with strict goals in mind.

But keep writing, you show promise.

well... when i make those walls it just lets me walk though them...

wow that looks amazing, until i saw this, my houses were just the wood tile on the first floor, and a window and a door event thing...aka: crap. ty for this! it makes it look ALOTTOLA better

Thanks Dwarras this tut really helped me out, I like a few other just had wood tile all over the place. its made all the current maps I have look 100% better, cheers.

I didn't really need the help from this tutorial, but it's good anyways.

I can't say that I care much for the light from the windows...for some reason that just bothers me and looks weird. Even when I do it on my maps...anyhow, great job. Now I'll go on to look at the other tutorials to see if I can learn anything.
