Year 2350 AD - Earth's populace crisis. The population grows exponentially and the UN starts worrying about food and even physical space for the people.
Year 2400 AD - even uninhabitable areas are now occupied - most wild life is dead, preserved only as DNA cells. Plans for underground occupying are made
Year 2425 AD - space exploration plan starts on full force to find inhabitable areas on outer space.
Year 2430 AD - terraforming technology is developed. People on Earth are starving to death, cities are overflowing with people. A 90 square feet apartment is home to an average of four families. The rich and the UN administration live in a space station, but even its resources are limited.
Year 2435 AD - UN decides that a purge is the only solution for the human race. Large areas are nuked and 90% of the human population is annihilated. It is estimated that life on Earth can be resumed in 250 years. In the meantime, space exploration continues, but due to lack of resources the projects are terminated. All efforts are put into terraforming Earth itself to make it inhabitable.
Year 2500 AD: New Earth Year One - Earth's terraformation is finished. Human population returns to Earth. The semi-natural environment is still fragile but the land is a "paradise". Slowly humanity starts to regrow under a single government.
Year 2800 AD: Year 300 NE - Population has reached around 3 billion people. A single government has been proven unable to actually control the whole planet. Space programs are reactivated. The idea is to colonize areas in space in order to avoid the same fate of the past.
Year 320 NE - Mars terraformation starts. Many people look towards the red planet as a source of salvation and move there to help in the terraformation and colonizing. For the next years, millions of humans move to Mars in search for a new life.
Year 340 NE - Mars terraformation fails catastrophically. The planet could not sustain the quasi-natural environment, and became barren. People start to wonder if the same will happen to Earth - or if Earth is only able to sustain the environment because it was once part of the planet.
Year 350 NE - Colonization attempts in Phobos and Deimos, the two moons orbiting Mars. The colonization project is terminated. No report or explanation was made available to the public.
Year 360 NE - A strange disease appears on Earth. It was from parasites that came from Phobos and Deimos - pieces of DNA that were found in these moons. They somehow leaked from their containing facilities. Since they have basically the same structure as virus (only pieces of DNA) they slowly spread around the globe. But the general public is not aware of this disease's nature. While the virus slowly tries to blend with the human DNA, these first victims suffer similar effects of various diseases and even horrible deformations. The first victims are dead in 10 days. The infection rate spreads, but the mortality rates start to decrease.
Year 370 NE - the UN no longer exists. Earth is divided in several governments.
Year 400 NE - a war finally eclodes. One of the war projects was to use enhanced humans with the alien DNA. The Xin are created.
Year 415 NE - the war ends. The Xin have no place in the society and end up having sub-jobs, or becoming beggars.
Year 430 NE - Plans to colonize Ganymede, one of the moons orbiting Saturn, take place.
Year 450 NE - Xin Surge: Xin start to rebel against humans. Xin and half-Xin (Xin that breeded with humans) begin a revolution. After a lot of bloodshed they are contained. Many were summarily executed. The Demihuman Police is created to keep the remaining few Xin on their tracks.
Year 480 NE - Ganymede is terraformed.
Year 500 NE - with the Xin being basically a boogeyman tale now, the existence of the Demihuman Police is put in jeopardy.
Year 530 NE - alien DNA infections start to appear again. The human body is able to "heal" from these infections, but in some, the alien DNA remains incubated. All virus carriers are monitored by the Demihuman Police.
Year 600 NE - Colony crisis. Inhabitants of the colonies complain that their life quality is constantly decreasing, as Earth's interest is only harvesting the colonies, instead of making them into new homes. For the next years, Earth is a great place to live, and Moon is the equivalent of a developing country. Ganymede is the equivalent of a very poor country.
Year 700 NE - Earth is no longer an "artificial paradise". Growing cities and cosmism make it become basically the way it was just before the crisis, only with less population.
Year 735 NE - Ganymede starts stronger protests, strikes, and crashing their own cargo ships to avoid sending resources to Earth. These things happen sporadically, dubbed as "accidents".
Year 750 NE - Actions from Ganymede are now all-out. A space war is inviable, so Earth tries to use diplomacy to solve the situation.
Year 760 NE - After a series of unsuccessful negotiations between Earth and Ganymede, Moon steps in and the Colonies Alliance is formed. Both colonies start to threaten Earth for better conditions. Ganymede's resources are now directed to the Moon.
Year 800 NE - All-out war between Moon and Earth. With Earth's atmosphere as the battlefield, the Moon has clearly the upper hand. The ancient alien DNA is used as a weapon, contaminating the Moon and causing horrible deaths. The war ends with Earth as victor. Ganymede is proclaimed independent. A new government was established in the Moon and divided it in three major countries. Ganymede is basically left to its own devices and has to beg for commercial ties. For the next years, the remains of the biological war equipment will have greater consequences on Earth, since more and more people start to appear with infection symptoms.
Year 1000 NE - The remaining Xin are gathered by a leader. They found a country on the desert.
Year 1020 NE - The Xin nation starts to occupy nearby territories. The basis of this occupation is that the Xin need land because they multiply quickly.
Year 1100 NE – no longer humans tolerate the presence of the Xin.
Year 1115 NE - a war against the Xin nation takes place. Many lives are lost. The war continued on for years.
Year 1140 NE – the war reaches its peak. It is debated if the use of nuclear weaponry should be used, since the nuclear fission technology became completely forbidden since the ancient times when Earth was purged.
Year 1155 NE – no longer bearing the war, all governments on Earth agree on using the forbidden technology. Research on the subject starts.
Year 1160 NE – The first new atom bomb is finished. Three more bombs are being produced.
Year 1161 NE – The launch of the four nukes. They are sent to the Xin nation and its surrounding areas. The effects of the bombs were much greater than calculated. Earth's terraformed environment was not able to sustain the impact and the whole planet became barren.
Year 1165 NE – Earth starts to rebuild itself. Most of the advanced technology was lost. Unable to re-terraform the planet, humans learn how to live in a desert world. Moon sends financial and structural help to Earth.
Year 1170 NE – infections of the alien DNA confirmed. The Demihuman Police is recreated and is given almost unlimited rights. However a federation of Rebels to protect people is created underground in New Detroit Michigan.
