Oddworld: New n' Tasty

SO FOR THOSE THAT DON'T KNOW about a year after they released Oddworld: Strangers Wrath for the XBOX, Oddworld Inhabitants (who also made the delectable Oddworld: Abes Oddysee+ Abes Exoddus) closed down due to getting royally fucked over by EA and Microsoft. That was about 8 years ago. However, in 2012 they had UK game developers Just Add Water create a HD re-release of Strangers Wrath. Aside from being a little buggy, it was absolutely gorgeous and a real improvement.

Cut to last year, JAW announced they were also tasked with remaking the first game in the Oddworld series, with the new name of Oddworld: New n' Tasty.

I for one AM INCREDIBLY HYPED as OI are my absolute heroes and my favorite game developers of all time, with Abe's Exoddus being my favorite game.

The game will be released some time in the next 2/3 months and will be about $29.99/£19.99.

It comes out in Spring, this spring!! So in the next few months we'll at least have a solid release - though it looks to be almost complete judging by the trailer quality.
