Terraria just updated last night with a major overhaul in its newest patch. Zeich and I played for a bit last night and was immensely amused by starting off in a rainstorm, where we encountered umbrella wielding slimes, raincoat donning zombies, fishbowl donning zombies, flying fish swimming through the raindrops, amazing looking waterfalls, and the goldfish jumping out from the ponds to walk on the land with us. We only had time to play for an hour, but it was amazing what all they put in now from just the surface.

Climbable ropes, fall-reducing umbrellas, wall jumping claws, minimaps, smoother tiles, new music... and we've barely really gotten into the game yet. I'd say it's definitely worth dusting the game off to give it a try again. :3
