[RMXP] How can I call the status screen to show characters not in the party?

Basically, I've made 7 characters, and I'd like to be able to have an item that can show the stats on the ones that aren't in the party at the moment.

I get the feeling this is a really simple question, but I have no knowledge of scripting  :-\
