[XP] Movement Control Problems

Okay so whenever I test a game on RPG Maker XP's built in emulator It acts as if the right control is always pressed and if I touch any of the other directional buttons then my characters starts moving up even after I let go of them. I know it's not a problem, with my game as I first thought because to test I made a new game just a simple green landscape and tested it and she did the exact same thing.

Is this a common problem with RPG Maker Xp? Has this happened to other people? Do I need to redownload the Application?

Does this just happen every time you run RMXP and test the game threw RMXP?
Even a brand new blank project?

Even a blank one. Does that mean it's a problem with my copy of XP?

do you have a usb webcam hooked up because rpgmaker always thinks my usb webcam is a gamepad and thinks the mic input is direction keys somehow.

No This started a long time before I got a mike and I've never liked webcams. Should I try redowloading RPG Maker XP?

What does it do and where should I put it. Also it's not a problem with a single games script. This happens even when I play a freshly made blank.

Looks like it just reads the F1 setting in RMXP threw the windows registry. Also writes over the old input script.
