I used to watch X-Play and Attack of the Show all the time (even back when it was the Screen Savers). The whole thing started going downhill (lol) when they brought in all the desperate pretty girls to the show. They weren't entertaining, or funny, or even interesting. They're just there as eye candy, struggling to form a coherent sentence without stuttering, saying things they've been coached to say because they really have no interest in video games or technology at all.
They were booth babes. They actually tried to incorporate booth babes in to a television network about video games and technology.
Olivia Munn and Morgan Webb were exceptions, of course. They were genuinely funny and actually knew what they were talking about. Or if they didn't, they wouldn't try to hide it. Hell, even Candice wasn't that bad. But the network clearly started trying to mimic Spike TV a long time ago, with an out-of-touch-ness that only a corporation can exemplify. "We need more viewers. What else do video game people like. Well, they're nerds, so they probably can't get girlfriends. I know, let's put pretty girls on every show! Are there any past playboy models or failed American Idol singers with pretty faces we can get for cheap, because they don't have any other skills besides looking pretty?"
