Common Event in Menu

Here's the thing: I've evented a "cheat code system". It's in a common event so I can call it easily as many times I want. Problem is, I can't put an option in the menu that calls this common event. I've already changed the code, because I have an option that brings the Achievement menu by Omegas7, but I cannot do the same with a common event for some reason. I think it may be something simple, but I'm not a scripter at all. Can anyone help me?

Which RM are you using? XP, VX, or VXA?

There are lots of menu scripts out there which let you add a command that calls a common event.
