Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I've looked around, but this seemed the best place for it.

The problem is exactly as stated: It just doesn't work. It doesn't do anything. No error messages, nothing. The game continues to work with no problems, but the skills do not show up on the character screens after equipping items with skills added. For example, the "Fire" skill should show up on the character's skill menu after equipping armor with the line <equipskill: Fire> in the armor's note box, but it doesn't.

This seems even more odd since Shanghai's Passive Skill script is working just fine. Does anyone know what might be the problem and how I might be able fix it?

Post a demo with the scripts you are referring to, with the same error/bug and it'll get solved. ^-^

I have an idea of what the problem could be, but I cannot be sure without seeing it.

All of my scripts are totally free to use for commercial use. You don't need to ask me for permission. I'm too lazy to update every single script post I ever made with this addendum. So ignore whatever "rule" I posted there. :)

All scripts can be found at: https://pastebin.com/u/diamondandplatinum3

I have the answer now, but thanks for responding so quickly! In case anyone else runs into the same problem, the solution is to use the number of the skill rather than the name. For example, if "Fire" is number 59 in the skills database, the notebox on the equipment should say <equipskill: 59>.
