    • Hey. I'm going to be a bit more sporadic in the next week; I have some issues and responsibilities that need attending to- nothng major, just time consuming, and I get top travel a bit for fire training. I'm not leaving permanently, but I thought that I'd post something just in case I run past my set deadline or whatever.

    Heh, yeah, and here we are a few days later, the program is complete, I return, and my company spent over 3,000.00 USD for me to listen to lectures and demonstrations that taught me very, very little. I was disappointed that the 3-day culmination of the course was canceled because the host department's aerial truck was damaged again- untill I thought about the poor rookie that damaged it.

    I guess the clearance on the truck is something like 13', and he tried to go under the one bridge in their district that was only 12' or so of clearance. At 30 mph. Noone was hurt, but their repair bill is pretty salty.
