I know that many people have a development team, how exactly do they all work on it (I'm talking about RPG Maker VX). Does every one have the same project open at once and there connected with something like MS SharePoint, or does every one have a project open and do there thing then combine it?

I'm guessing that most people just do one aspect (mapping, scripting, music, etc.) and then send their work to the main developer of the game for them to piece it together. That's what I usually do anyway.

Is it possible to do it with SharePoint?

I really doubt that Microsoft is going to put RPG Maker compatability with SharePoint. What Aco said is usually what happens. Mappers send MapData, Scripters send their scripts, writers send their script, etc.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, you could use Teamviewer or something, but the lead developer's computer is going to be really laggy with everyone working on something at once.

Certainly you can use sharepoint, but don't you think it would be overkill?
Personally I don't think using sharepoint is worth the trouble of setting it up.

*hugs*

I asked about SharePoint because I had it when I got office 2010. I may try team viewer, if isn't working then I will use drop box, thanks.   ^-^
