Rios-Ent RPG Video Game Awards 2006 Competion.

Games must be an Rpg or it could be anything alongest it's Rpg related. Please read all the rules and make your you understand them.  If you have questions then please ask and I will reply to them as best as I could.


1> Sex in Games

Your game could have any kind of content including sex scenes, murder scenes, gore scenes, but you must not show it on .avi .mpeg movies or pictures for any of the makers out there. Having child sex scenes or rape scenes are not allow at all.

2> What we would like to see in games.

We want to see Comedy, Action, love, romance, or anything.

3> Game Period

You have from January 20 to October 20 to make and finish your game. Sorry no game demos will be allow.

4> Game Size

Your game must be from 5mb to 50mb unless you tell us a reason why your game is more bigger than that.

5> Game Playing Time

Your game playing time must be from 7 hours and up to qualify. Games Less than 7 will not qualify, so find a way to find out how much your total game time is.

6> Game Makers Allow

Rpg Maker 95, 2000, 2003, & Xp, Flash, and others alongests it's a playable rpg game.

7> Judges are

Not available at the moment.

8> Grand prize

For the number one game there's going to be a throphy. Which I will ask the winner for his address and i'll be mailing it to him.

9> Award give out day

December 23, 2006

10> What will others win.

11> Are you going to give cash as prizes

No, cash will not be a prize option.

12:) Can I include myself in the game

Yes you can.

13:) Can I use a game title like Final Fantasy as a title for my game.

No, try to be original. Don't borrow game titles from actuall games.

14:) Do I need to have a team in order to created and submit a game for the awards.

No, You could if you want or you could created yourself.

15:) Around what age should I make my game for. (peoples ages)

You could make games for whatever age you want to attract.

16:) Can I have Racist, discrimination, hateful comments or story plots for my games.

No if you are talking about real world humans like ( Arab, Jews, black people, hispanic).
Yes if your talking about rpg npc characters.

17:) What happens if I don't finish my game on time.

Then your not qualify to submit your game. Only full games are allow.

18:) Game Bugs

Your game must be bug free. Smoot playing all the way.

19:) Could I use RTP characters and resources.

Yes, but don't try to use them all. Try to create your own if possible.

20:) Can I bride the judges.

No, You will automatically be disqualified.

21:) Do I need to join Rios-ent.com in order to submit my game.

Yes, to post your game info an such. And thats all. You don't have to return back and be a regular member and keep posting.

22:) I belong to another forum, Could I still participate.

Yes

23:) Do I need to submit personal info.

No, you will only at the end of the competition, but only if you are the grand prize winner.

24:) What catergory should my game fall under.

If you could try to hit for one of them.

does the 7 hours include "time wasters" such as finding out what to do or taking some time reading what npcs have to say or pure 7 hours of knowing 100% what you are going to do, when to level, where to level, how to level and so on, knowladge that only the maker himself will know when playing the first time?

let me consider if i will actually do such a thing, it's supposed to be a supa game.. hard..
i might try alone first and then add a team to fix stuff i couldn't do..

You could add sidequests, other twists if you want alongest the player finds a way to return back to the main story plot.  Alongest a player gets 7 and more hours of gameplay.

Remember guys, the games enter are not official until you post them in Rios-ent.com/forums at our forums.  That way I could keep track of the games enter.

All you have to do is join the forums and then post your game there, or at least info on your games.

I suppose you have untill the deadline? But pegasus can tell us exactly I guess.

you could post it anywhere.  It's up to you.  If you want to be part of the contest it has to be posted in the contest section of rios ent forums.  You guys have until January 15 to february 10 to submit your games in the contest.

Just an update, we still need more games for the awards.  So come to rios and enter the awards contest.

I wonder if I'm finally ready to start another project...
