Hello, all. Great forum here. I've already learnt loads by sifting through all the posts and information that you guys have produced. Really good job!

Anyway, let's not beat around the bush anymore. The reason I'm here is because I've been asking for help at various forums for some problems I've encountered, and no-one seems to be able to help me. This really is my last hope.

The first problem is with a custom skill I have made. The skill works fine if I execute it and then just leave the keyboard alone and watch it unfold. No problem there. But, when I execute the skill, and then carry on inputting the commands for the rest of my team, the computer tends to think it's its turn and interrupts my skill by trying to do a move of its own. Literally halfway through my skill on the enemy, that particular enemy will try to start doing a skill of its own. This is really annoying and just leaves the enemy stranded in the air (my skill launches the enemy in the air).

Is there a way to stop the computer from taking its turn until my skill has finished? It would totally solve my problem if there was. Or is it the ATB that is screwing this up? If not, is there another way to solve this problem?

The second problem is more of a limitation with the float command. I can't seem to rotate my character (or enemy), without some strange glitch happening, where they will disappear and reappear on the ground until the rotation is finished. Once it has, they the ping back up to their original float position. Again, is there anyway around this? Will I have to wait for another Tankentai update? I'm totally out of ideas and have been trying out different stuff all week.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope you have some ideas on how I can fix these small, but project-stopping problems I have. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Please don't make me...
3.4e is out now, and for your problem:
If the only script your using now is Tankentai 3.4d then it should work, but if you're using any other custom script, I suggest making a new project, and copy the files there and remove the custom scripts one by one until the problem stops.

If you do take the time to do so, post back the results.

Thanks for the reply, FireLupine. It's much appreciated.

I didn't realise 3.4e was out, so I found a link and downloaded it. Funnily enough, there is a skill included called TKSlam, which rotates the enemy in a float position, and everything seems to work fine. I'm going to have a playaround later tonight when I have more time, but I'm excited by this. I may be able to finish my project after all. ;D

Anyway, thanks for the reply. You're the only reply I've had in 3 forums.

I'll report back again once I've had a chance to play with it properly.

Well, it seems my joy was short lived. There is indeed the same limitations with this version of Tankentai.

I thought the TKSlam skill held the key to what I was trying to achieve, it certainly looked like it. But when I broke it down, the rotate action is executed on the ground, not in the air (or floating position). It's just done straight after so it initially looked like it was. Shame.

I can't really understand why such a limitation exists, but hey, if dems da rules, then I just gotta live with it! I'll have to re-think my custom skill.

Of course, if anyone thinks I'm crazy, and you know you can get battlers to rotate while floating from their shadow; feel free to give it a shot and report back the results. I would absolutely love it if I was wrong.

Anyway, thanks for the reply.
