HELP! Can't Remember...

I played a quest a while ago on a game...
Cannot remember what game it was...
The Quest goes something like this...

Recieve a script to memorize.
Act out the script on stage.
Midway through the play a member of the audience runs up on stage and attacks one of the other actors.
The main goal of the quest is to protect the other actor from being harmed...

Any clue as to what game this could be.
I think Oblivion but my friends don't recall...

I have no idea...

Based on the synopsis, it sounds like FF6's Opera Scene... However, that conflicts with your notion that it might have been in Oblivion, which is a 3D game, whereas FF6 was on the SNES.

This one is from the original game, showing the enemy that was going to attack the actor (by dropping a 4 ton weight on them) and the fight that ensued.

God that sounds good, and very similar, I'm presuming this is a regular occourance in many games
as I have heard many different suggestions as to what game it was. Many I havn't played before.

But alas it is not FF6. I say this because the game I played had an instant battle system not turn based.
I know this because I accidentally killed the person I was trying to save with one epic swoop, taking out both the enemy and the ally.

I knew it was elder scrolls just presumed it was oblivion as I have barely played morrowind

There's a quest kind of like that in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood where you kill an actor in a play.
