I didn't get to go. I had to work. I'm not too fussed, though. I'm not very into the new album.
They played a bunch of older stuff, too, but yeah, it was mostly new stuff. Which is okay with me, because I absolutely love the new album. The sound was perfect, too. There was a 21+ pre-show-party in this courtyard and we got to hang out and drink beers before the show. And then the show started, and there was a 21+ area that was mostly vacant for the entire show, even though it had a spectacular view. They had crazy obscure beers, and even had one of my favorites on tap (Victory's Hop Devil), so I got just a little drunk and rocked the fuck out.
Standard bar prices, too, which was awesome.
I took a bunch of pics with my phone.
http://www.lightbox.com/wall/arlenreybI couldn't zoom on my phone for some reason, which was kind of lame, but whatever.
The opening acts were also spectacular. I have to remember to check out O'Brother (think Thrice + Deftones) and Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground after I finish moving in to my new place.
