Modified Caterpillar?

im looking for a modified caterpillar script, or a way to change the current one. i love how it works but, the only problem is i dont want my party to follow me, i want a dog to follow me like in fable.

is there a way to make it so that a random sprite can follow me instead of party members?

What caterpillar are you using? Also, can't you just set the dog as a party member?
